Update: Submit New Pages or Changes to Search Engines Faster

eBusiness Manual™ reports:

Yahoo, Microsoft and Google now identify your sitemap via the 'same-for-all' robots.txt.

Yahoo have acted on a user suggestion on their suggestion board and collaborated with Microsoft and Google, to make it possible to submit a link to your sitemap in the robots.txt. It is very simple to do and speeds up the time it takes for the participating search engines to identify your sitemap, and the changes you make. You can still (and should) submit to Google Sitemaps and Yahoo! Search, but the added function to robots.txt, speeds up your submissions and identifies changes faster.
